# SECTION 2 - FAIR PLAY AND ROLEPLAY INTEGRITY

#### 2A – Prohibition of Metagaming

Tier 4 Violation\
Metagaming occurs when a player applies out-of-character knowledge to influence their character’s decisions or actions in situations where their character would realistically be unaware of such information. Using information or mechanics outside the character’s understanding or the game’s framework to benefit one’s character or situation is strictly prohibited.

#### 2B – Avoidance of Powergaming

Tier 4 Violation\
Powergaming is the act of prioritizing personal gain or success by exploiting situations or mechanics, often at the expense of roleplay quality or fairness to other players. All gameplay must respect the narrative, character limitations, and the immersive experience of all participants. Actions taken solely to achieve the most favorable outcomes without regard for roleplay context or the experience of others are not permitted.

#### **2C – Promotions**

* Promotions may only occur **one rank at a time**.
* No individual may receive another promotion until **a minimum of one (1) month** has passed since their last promotion.
* All promotions must be conducted **within the first week of each calendar month**. Promotions issued outside of this window will be considered invalid unless explicitly approved by server ownership.

#### **2D – Being Robbed by a Civilian**

Tier 2 Violation

* If you are robbed or mugged by another member, the money that is "On Hand" in the bank MUST go to the person you mugged.
* We see all logs so if you deposit all your funds into the bank from hand right as you are being mugged or right after to avoid being fair, you are in violation.
